I know our world has a lot of problems, its just the reality we live in. But every once in a while you get to see glimpses of goodness where people buy into the idea of humanity as one and are willing to sacrifice for the sake of others. I have been really impressed with the support Haiti has been given. I know that the media has a strong pull to which disasters we learn about about, but with Haiti it seems as if the media, working together, is drawing a huge majority of the publics eyes and ears to the devastation. I can only imagine the amount of money that has been collected, $10 here $5 there through a text message or whatever, the amount must be monumental. I hope that it makes it to who it needs to get to, but the fundamental issue is that the world has been presented a problem and this time has strived to do something about it.
